Author Topic: I have to attend a wedding today...  (Read 2323 times)

So, I have to attend this wedding today and its 5:59 AM, I have traveled 1200 KM for this in car and I have not slept for more than an hour.
Any suggestions on how to keep me up during the wedding?

Keep in mind I left at 6:00 AM yesterday, so I have not slept for a long time :I

don't rest your head on anything

Have fun~

Since we're on the topic of weddings I will spin you all a tale of the last wedding I went to.
Back when I was in the Philippines two of the people I was hanging around with got married, and asked me to be one of the best men peeps, I turned them down however because really I didn't know them that well and was going to go home, so I figured it would be better for them to have someone they know and will stay with them do it.
And it's a good loving thing I did because I spent the entire wedding on the toilet with explosive diarrhoea.
I shudder to think what would have happened if I had been up there with them.

Funny. Today I am being suited in a tuxedo for my cousin's wedding.

I haven't been to a wedding since....2005-06?  My dad's youngest sister was getting married in Chicago.  Before that, the only other wedding I can think of was my mom's brother where I was the best man.  But that was in 1999.

i've been a flower girl for like 3 different weddings
have some coffee or something beforehand and don't rest your head on stuff or get comfortable

Not possible ;)

Weddings get a lot more enjoyable when you're allowed to drink. Normally I hate talking to people I don't know but when I'm a bit tipsy I'll talk to anyone.

I shudder to think what would have happened if I had been up there with them.

You would have been a living bomb.

Anyways, the wedding will take place in around 4 hs and I have just met half of the people who are invited, mostly family I havent seen in years.
I also found out that there will be coffee, so I think that I might not fall asleep while sitting down.

The main ceremony just ended and im about to pass out on the floor, Im desperately wishing for the food and drinks tables to be set up so I can get some coffee.
Oh, the microphone that was being usebin the ceremony stopped working and nobody could hear anything, so yeah, that went well.

dont worry, the woman only takes about 10 years to get there

Coffee is a gift from the gods.

I used to be able to stay up for days drinking coffee, but the effect sort of wears off after a while and you become dependent on it. I have to drink coffee to function properly :c
