it looks good.

Those are dyes, hopefully. They don't look much different than hard-boiled eggs.

In all fairness, so long as I didn't see the eggs in the pickling process, I might eat one.

So wait a second. Is it like hard boiled eggs except the egg whites actually taste like something?

i find it funny how you think it is gross yet it is just pickling spices and stuff.
Some people are so unfamiliar with cooking and so far removed from cooking processes that seeing food prepared or the ingredients of food they love turns them away.
I don't tell my mom's bf half of the ingredients that go into what I cook, because if I did he wouldn't eat it. But he doesn't know, so he eats it and likes it.
All it is is sliced onions, mustard seed or coriandor (can't tell which), and allspice or peppercorns (again, can't tell which)

Crumpets are really British. But also apparantly popular in Australia and New Zealand.
I'll be honest and say that you're the first person I know who doesn't like crumpets.

That said, tea makes me sick, and I really can't stand coffee.

Pickled eggs are one of those weird things that are typically British and I've always been aware of them, but have never considered trying them.
Probably the weirdest thing I've seen in a chippies was a man walking in from the rain, ordering a single pickled egg, paying, taking the still wet egg in hand and walking out with it.

How can you not like crumpets? They're like a pillow for your butter.

Pickled eggs always look so gross though, Sort of the reason I've never tried them.

Oh and I don't really like eggs all that much either so that too.

My toaster doesn't lift the holder high enough up for me to get my crumpets out properly. I basically have to burn myself trying to get them out.
It's all worth it though for a juicy buttery crumpet with a nice layer of peanut butter on top.

pickled eggs are forgetin amazing

I've had pickled eggs before. They're not my cup of tea, but they're not bad at all.

I guess they're the kind of thing you either love or hate.

I have only heard it from british people or people in europe and i have never found any here.
