you're looking at the worsts of humanity and then saying that is how humans act. you should look at both sides of the spectrum of 'good' and 'bad'
i suggest reading a book called The Giver. it's pretty short too, about 170 pages long.
The acts of the few do not outweigh the many
More often than not there are very few "good" people, and even they have dark sides
I don't care who you are. Everyone has a little bad in them. Maybe disrespect for authority, maybe you think women belong at home, maybe blacks should've stayed slaves. Does that make you bad? Not necissarily. Does it make it wrong? Possibly.
There are acts of kindness, and there are acts of evil, but it is notoriously much easier to be evil than to be kind.
Take for example batman and joker. Depending on how you interpret the universe, they are the same exact person, twins almost, but chaos vs righteousness. Joker hardly loses anything, batman loses everything. Women, children, friends, family. Joker laughs and shrugs it all off.
Ending a life takes the pull of a trigger
Saving a life requires trained medical personal who have gotten years of schooling
I'm not denying there is good in the world, contrary, I try to be a part of it (I'm an Eagle Scout, it's my civic duty to not be an ass, as stated by the 4 letters I've gotten from state officials who are also Eagle Scouts). You can clean up trash, do service work, feed the hungry, but in the end things always fall down faster than they go back up.
