So let me get this straight: you make your base powerful by using howtizers (that's a smart and okay move) but then proceed to use zone bricks to make an inpenetrable forcefield around your base.
This makes your base invincible and is VERY unfair to the other players as they can't stop you. I don't care about that bit about "sometimes shots can get through" because its only getting through shots from you who are on the inside, and i'm sure you've used events to temporarily "drop your shields" when you fire shots at other people, depending on whether your "forcefield" was a giant 64x zone cube that covered your entire base or a bunch of smaller cubes that lined the perimeter.
You've basically set yourself up as de-facto badmins yourself this way, being practically unable to be killed yet capable of killing everyone else. You've set yourself up as capable of long-range warfare against all other bases while they can't get in a single shot against you. How can you not see anything wrong with this?
The host sees you godmoding your way through the fort war game with your stupid forcefield brick and destroys it to give other players a fair chance. This is a logical and ethical move. I think I speak for most of the forum here when I say that we would've all done the same.
Then you have the audacity to get snarky with the admin about technicalities, trying to catch him up in his own rules, to try to excuse your bad behavior. It should be common sense that what you did is NOT okay. I would have permabanned you right then and there if this was my server, as soon as you started getting snide with me.
Conclusion: You acted like a jerk and you deserved your ban.
