Another hour passes but the new system glitches and Democracy is skipped, reseting the timer and forcing the mob to wait another hour. After the hour, democracy regains control but a troll spreads a false string of commands as the way to get through the gym. When everyone copies it and AJ ends up walking in circles, anarchy regains control once more.

Another hour passes but once again the new Democracy-Anarchy system glitches and skips democracy mode once again. Forcing the already impatient mob to wait ANOTHER full hour.

The mob enters democracy mode and makes it almost all the way through the Ecruteak Gym maze. Three steps from exiting the maze, they go left one too many times and are sent back to the start.
Wow

Advancing into Route 38, AJ is about to receive the number of a Lass, but his contacts are full. The mob spends some time trying to delete a contact to make room.
Your contacts can be filled? I don't remember that being a thing, was it changed in HeartGold or am i just remembering wrong?

Red has the Hall of Fame team? That is awesome, i hope they're stats, levels and moves are what they were

This would actually be interesting.
Lord Helix himself and his great warriors Versus a new band of pokemon.
someone needs to record this battle when it happens.

Someone usually does, if not, TPP will make a timelapse of it once the LP is over (with the final battle + ending being normal speed)

They said they couldn't do highlights of the various days anymore because it takes up too much time to edit, render, and upload them to Youtube, so they're sticking with a sped up timelapse, but will keep the final battle and the ending in normal speed

Why has the amount of users gone down severely since Crystal started? Did people lose interest?

The mob runs into their first shiny, a shiny Mantine with only Lazer Gator as their living pokemon. The mob lacks pokeballs to catch it and will kill it in a battle. At the last second, they run from it.
THEY WHAT?!

HOW DID THEY JUST BUMP INTO A SHINY? WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

Democracy is so boring.

Democracy is so boring.
I say it's best used when anarchy gets nowhere for a long period of time or have to do something really specific

It'd probably be better if people knew how to compensate for the delay so they wouldn't overshoot their goal, the hardest thing about democracy is the PokeGear, it would actually be easier if people just used commands like a9 to skip the dialogue while the next command is waiting to be put into action

The party attempts to heal, but Anti-Gator cultists seize the opportunity and direct AJ toward the PC, and the mad struggle ends up releasing Togepi. Smoochum is deposited, and Eevee is retrieved.
Why is this even a thing? I don't think Pokemon that have HMs can be released in Gen 2 and on, so those who don't want Feraligator are just releasing Pokemon left and right for no reason

Losing the Pokemon you manage to obtain with 20,000 people playing is just no fun, especially if they've been of some use to the team

Though i'm surprised just how quickly they are breezing through this game, they've almost completed the main story already as they've recently earned their 6th badge

RIP lord togepi's physical form

I say it's part of the fun personally.

Pokemon isn't a hard-to-beat game series.

Only 18,000 people? Man, the numbers sure have dropped from late February

I really want to see them make it to Mt. Moon though, i'd like to see whether or not Red actually has the roster from the previous LP, they're still going at a pretty good pace and are only a badge from completing Johto, but that's still quite a big drop from the usual 50,000 to 70,000 that Twitch Plays Pokemon Red would get during it's slower days
