After wandering around in Route 27, the game stops both Anarchy and Democracy to bring a new system into the test where the game runs votes where it waits until set amount of votes are given and picks one at random.

It's been around and below 20,000 since Crystal started up

I suppose people are over it now and don't want to put up with the same headaches in a new environment or something

There's still an active status page, TV Tropes page and people who still make fan art though

They put Crystal off for almost 2 days and played some random Pokemon games inbetween

After the Gen 1 adventure ended, the streamer put on a few different Pokémon-themed games against the THE END countdown to the next adventure. This was likely to test to see what kinds of games would stand up to the bizarre input method that the stream is.

Pokémon Pinball, Pokémon Puzzle Challenge, and the Pokémon Trading Card Video Game were tried, and failed quickly.

The longest running intermission game was dubbed "Pokémon DX" by the title screen, a Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening ROM hack that quite poorly swapped sprites and dialog for Pokémon. Link's sprite was replaced by Red (but only when he was standing upright). Movement was more stilted and difficult than normal due to Zelda not sticking rigidly to the grid like Pokémon does.

This also included a mod of Super Mario Land GB, entitled "Pokémon Land GB", where Mario's sprite was replaced with Red, the question mark blocks were replaced with Poké Balls, and the goombas and other enemies replaced with Diglett and other Pokémon. The standard Mario pipes didn't change however. The stream didn't get very far, seeing as the ever-evil ledges in this game are deadly, and you only have 3 lives.

The list also included "Pokémon Diamond", the Japanese-only RPG very similar to Pokémon that was translated and sold as a bootleg in the US, a bootleg game entitled "Pokémon Adventure", and a strange Chinese-made version of Pokémon Yellow that no one has yet to identify (dubbed "Pokémon Bag Simulator" by the update thread due to horrible controls that left the stream stuck in menus for the entire runtime).
