A, what are you doing

Stahp

So apparently the story of A is that she's the grown up version of the girl from Dogz/Dogz 2 and she started out as a bad seed by starving her two dogs while not feeling bad about doing so, and when she grew up, before moving to Littleroot, she murdered several children (or relatives?), the voices of her victims now reside in her head, she thought she killed T/Mr. T but he managed to survive somehow and has taken over Brendan's body to get revenge on A

Alternatively, after having left AJ, the voices moved onto A, having heard of these voices and what they do, she embraces them and decides to turn Hoenn "up start down"

I love how 300,000 - 400,000 people show up for the premier of Emerald and then disappear the next day, thus bringing the stream back down to the 10,000s like what Crystal had

Where did everyone go? Were they just like, waiting for Emerald to start to see who we chose as a trainer and starter was like "Alright, now it's time to leave and never come back" and that was it? What the heck, internet? :cookieMonster:

Thankfully it's harder to release Pokemon in this game than in Gen II thanks to 'Release' being an extra button lower, so now instead of 3 downs it now requires 4, and considering the left, right and B spam, it's becoming less and less likely a release will happen

So who knows, maybe the PC is now actually able to be used for once? Though things will probably remain as they are considering how traumatized people were after Bloody Sunday

"marill is already in battle" X1000

While A is drawn to the PC, the inputs manage to finally get a Pokemon released - Zexy, who had been earlier added to the party. The Mob goes ballistic, with half chastising the others for greed and not getting out while they could, and the other half blaming the first for pressing "down" enough to even get to the options that harm them. Many parallels are drawn to Abby.
This is why we can't have fire starters anymore

THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE FIRE STARTERS ANYMORE

did they not even attempt a soft reset at that moment or was a save null and void aka far from that point

Select's been disabled since when the game started for reals, so a soft reset isn't possible

They should have put a tracking beacon on it

A new input system has been put into play, it allows users to combine buttons in a chain that are accepted on a frame by frame basis (pretty much like what Democracy had), the streamer has also re-enabled Select, but has tried several times to soft reset the game, but was unable to cause a soft reset, so the chances of starting over appear to be slim to none, hopefully

The new system does not take repeated actions though, so no direction spam

Also, i just noticed that the input list now highlights what commands are being accepted and when

Let's hope that the streamer disabled this line of text in the IRC bot: start+select+a+b

That soft resets the game.

oh man i tab out for like 30 seconds and i look back and there's only two pokemon in the party, did they release a bunch or just store them
