Author Topic: Twitch Plays Pokemon  (Read 38874 times)

It bugs me that someone always has to come along and say this whenever this topic is bumped

Yes people still find this entertaining, which is why the stream is still going and the reddit page is still active

But yes, the hype has obviously gone down since Pokemon Red, there's been a steady amount of 600 people since Platinum compared to the 100,000 back then, the view count does get a spike whenever a new game starts, but it goes down later on

With the help of Twitch_Plays_3DS, they're gonna be playing Pokemon X/Y next, so it might be more interesting since they'll have to navigate in 3D and figure out how they're gonna use the grind rails

Not sure how Pokemon Amie and Super Training is gonna work though
Considering it's Pokemon X/Y with a coat of Hoenn thrown over it, the PC will most likely be the same :cookieMonster:

I'm not even too sure where we are right now and what our goal is.

There's still the elite four and the post-game stuff (if Twitch doesn't start a new game after beating the elite four, that is), but so far, there hasn't been any releases yet

Maybe this will be the first game to have 0 pokemons released

It seems like they're beating a dead horse at this point

They're just playing the games for fun now, it's not like they're showing that they're capable of beating Pokemon via Twitch since they've already proven themselves capable

It's just another thing people can do, especially if they don't have the game that's currently being played

It's plenty different from playing a physical copy of the game, but they can still experience what the game/story is like and with many people trying to control the game at the same time

Pokemon Black 2 is their first run without any releases. Also, they have created three Miis in total with only one being deleted.

Enjoy their Miis.

They look... normal?

Twitch Plays Pokemon's really lost their touch!

Also, they posted some art to the Miiverse

The riots have mega evolved!

By the way, when they were playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf, one of the things they managed to have the character say was "hax"

The animals that lived in that town probably thought he was weird

oh yeah, they also wore a skirt as a male i think

Found more amusing things on the TPP Imgur thing

Pokemon X begins in 2.10 hours

3DS streamer thinks it's gonna be big since there's currently over 1,000 current viewers

He must be new here
