Because in the past you had to call them on the phone and your phone call was sent over to an office in India.

I hated the Hawken fanboys. They would go around bashing MechWarrior and call the game a Hawken clone. Or they would talk about how Hawken had superior gameplay to MechWarrior, even though at the time Hawken was still in development.
