That doesn't quite help if he's trying to make the Pyro move, unless he's making a walking animation from scratch
When you apply a run animation to a model, there's usually sliders on the right side of the model selection window that controls the direction of movement, move a slider halfway or all the way to the right for movement to be applied, your model will then move forward until the end of the shot
You can make them turn by going to the motion editor in the timeline, selecting the time when you want them to turn and stay turned (so leave the end of the selection as going all the way through the shot), and make sure to set a falloff at the start of the selection so the Pyro will have a transition while turning
Then bring the playhead to the start of the selection (not the falloff, the greener green that signifies the actual selection), then select the rootTransform bone of the Pyro and rotate it in the direction you want the Pyro to turn
The results can be rather ugly, so you'll have to mess with the various procedural sliders to make the turn smoother, like In, Out, Steady, Hold or Release
