Damn gay people stealing our rainbows.
Now it's all like rainbows are for gays and if you like them you're gay.
Like wtf, who doesn't like rainbows? They're loving beautiful.
Are you by any chance gay?

I'm just rainbowloveual.
I don't know what it is about colour spectrums but they get my motor running.

I don't like rainbows.

I only like the rainbows in the sky

can someone give me an example of oppression
In government:
In a majority of states, you can't get married.
There is no legal protection against firing from their job someone based on their loveuality on the federal level, only some (I'm pretty sure the minority) states have state-level protection
Arizona recently fought a bill that would have made it legal for businesses to refuse service solely on the grounds of someone's loveuality

In private lives:
Many people are bullied and harassed because of their loveuality
Many people are disowned by their parents because of their loveuality
Many people are assaulted because of their loveuality
There's a ton more you could find. It's not hard, and you don't have to look far

Don't use gay as a derogatory term. Rather, say, Homestuck is not too cool!.
are you a middle school teacher

uh, could you mabye add me to the thread? i identify as a lesbian transgender.

1.There is no legal protection against firing from their job someone based on their loveuality on the federal level, only some (I'm pretty sure the minority) states have state-level protection

2.Arizona recently fought a bill that would have made it legal for businesses to refuse service solely on the grounds of someone's loveuality

1. I was pretty sure the 14th amendment covered this, with the whole all citizens are to be treated equally. I could be wrong on this one.

2. Honestly, I wish that would have passed. I wouldn't doubt for a second that would go all the way to the supreme court and they would have to make a ruling whether that is ok or not. Similar to Brown v. Board of Education.

In government:
1A).In a majority of states, you can't get married.
(2A)There is no legal protection against firing from their job someone based on their loveuality on the federal level, only some (I'm pretty sure the minority) states have state-level protection
(3A).Arizona recently fought a bill that would have made it legal for businesses to refuse service solely on the grounds of someone's loveuality

In private lives:
(1B).Many people are bullied and harassed because of their loveuality
Many people are disowned by their parents because of their loveuality
Many people are assaulted because of their loveuality
There's a ton more you could find. It's not hard, and you don't have to look far
These are just some of my thoughts and my inner babblings.
1A). Marriage is a dieing practice anyway. Plus many consider it to be an act of a male taking ownership of a women, so basically it would be a man taking custody of another man and making him his bitch so to speak.
2A). Depends on the state.
3A). Many Businesses put a sign right saying they have the right to deny service to anyone they don't like, that bill would be an extension to that right. Just like how a male gay bar could reserve the right to not serve straight people.

1B.) Depends on the culture of that state, the people that end up hateing gays are the ones that were indoctrinated by their parents through religion or extreme politics like national socialistsm or Communism. You can't really change their opinions overnight by force, it would be like trying to tame an adult cat.

So basically if you are feeling oppressed, why not move to a place that is more tolerant if had the chance to leave than stay in the place where you are unhappy. When the Native Americans were forced to relocate, the Choctaw tribe left a year early because they saw that as a chance to get away from white oppression rather than getting pushed around. After feeling unwelcome in Europe, many jews went to Israel where they would live happily with their own kind(while oppressing another, but that is another argument for another day).

At first I thought this was the
Bacon
Lettuce
Tamato
Guns
Questions
Answeres
mega thread
BLT megathread would be better.

Would you like extra oppression with that?

I'm Bi-panloveual
It's done at that

So basically if you are feeling oppressed, why not move to a place that is more tolerant if had the chance to leave than stay in the place where you are unhappy. When the Native Americans were forced to relocate, the Choctaw tribe left a year early because they saw that as a chance to get away from white oppression rather than getting pushed around. Yeah because all us kids can just up and move away. You're doing the whole, "Well it's your problem not ours that you're oppressed, fix it yourself."  Also no one is asking mentalities to be change overnight. You think racism in the south against Blacks changed overnight? But look where we are now.

So basically if you are feeling oppressed, why not move to a place that is more tolerant if had the chance to leave than stay in the place where you are unhappy. Let's make gay people reservations.
