Author Topic: Is it okay to fail these classes in 8th grade?  (Read 3525 times)

Although I think its a requirement for this to work that you're significantly more competent than most people at finding ways to get what you want out of life.
I agree with most of your stuff, but the whole "SAT is worthless" and "AP classes are pointless" advice is pretty bad.

setro wtf
you want to purpousely fail subjects just to get out of doing work
just do you work mate
there should be no reason you should be failing any classes
i have never failed a class and don't plan to anytime

Its not ok to fail any classes lol

any class shouldn't be "okay to fail"
this

also, if you went to a school here, you would be omega forgeted
you need to pass every class
in middle school
this was expected in 6th grade

I think it's situational, and I think people put too much weight on these things that doesn't need to be put on them. It seems like everyone the entire time I was in HS was urging me to do both of these things. I did none of them and I'm currently exactly where I want to be, with plenty of bonuses to boot.

he'll look back at this when he's like trying to get employed and he'll know where life went wrong for him

i'm struggling in a couple of GCSE subjects in my school but i'm getting by them by listening in class

RE is a forced subject in our school
I don't really mind because it's kinda enjoyable

I'm terrified
studying is my pet peeve, and I didn't study today, test is tomorrow, for social studies and religion. I have the morning to study but I don't think that's enough time.
loving teacher didn't tell us what to study, she just said study sections one and two
lol
she told you what to study, that was sections 1 and 2...

Yeah but you're a case, and cases are seldom representative of the normal outcome for a student. The fact of the matter is that SAT scores and AP credits are important to colleges and college is important to your future.

I'm in a similar position, having missed so many days because of hospitalization/IOP and just not having been there for the lessons/to get the work reliably. If you're actually there, take advantage of it.

If you failed those classes and you're only in eighth grade you have a long life ahead of you.

Everyone will tell you this over and over again, but you should really curb the habit of putting off studying. You're going to put yourself through a lot of stress and frustration if you neglect studying.

I'm not going to sugarcoat it, if you put off studying and put yourself in a bad place grade wise, nobody but you is to blame.

dude you're done when you get to high school

why would religion be a class unless its a catholic school or something

why would religion be a class unless its a catholic school or something
you dont learn about other peoples religious views in any other subject and i mean religion is a pretty big thing in this world
