taya why do your prints look like they're made of candy. i want to eat them.
the red material we use for our solidoodle (soon to be replaced by an actual professional printer) comes out as a solid color but yours looks like candy. it makes me mad. stop printing candy.
i'm thinking of getting a Solidoodle for my b-day
they're based out of Brooklyn and they seem legitimate.
they aren't the best. the engineering program at my school has one and it can be a huge butt to work with. the raft layer doesn't always want to stick to the print bed no matter what temperature you set the extruder or bed to. not sticking is bad because it'll curl up and then the extruder will hit an edge and it'll forget up the whole job.
when we first got ours we also had to spend a really long time trying to get the print bed at the proper height in relation to the extruder head. then there's also some problems where the honeycombing/infill doesn't want to print properly or it skips layers.
i dunno why we have so many problems with our solidoodle. i see a lot of other users out there who don't have these kinds of problems but w/e
