Yey. Start with Launchpad. Launchpad allows you to have your own APT repository. That way, any future syerjchep software can be downloaded and installed from the command line via the apt-add-repository and apt-get commands. Provided you are using Debian or Ubuntu, of course.

Yeah I have a dual boot ubuntu and windows.
Thing is spring break is almost over and developing at all is going to become a lot more difficult, as I can only do it on my notebook that can barely get 25 fps.

Nope, made it completely from scratch.

Programming language is c++.
Graphics library is OpenGL.
Audio is OpenAL.
Networking is SDL_Net
