What role would Badspot play in the game? Would the TBM people be like a stormcloak rebellion group?

I was just saying I don't like the fad of intentionally lower quality graphics.

You can some how make this assumption that I am putting no effort into my 2D Game Framework/Engine/WordThing even though until now you didn't even know it existed? Or am I misinterpretting you? Do you mean that you are putting an effort into making "modern graphic" games by ripping some stuff off of google?

You're probably putting effort into it, obviously.
I'm not saying a 2d game can't have some entertainment value or have its fans, I'm just saying 2d games are usually a developers stepping stone (think of all the kids and their gamemaker games) or an interpretation of an already existing IP or concept. (you could have indirectly related games like terraria = 2d minecraft, or more direct relationships such as reinterpretations on older games which usually get a pass)

I don't understand what you mean by "ripping some stuff off google".
You mean the few placeholder models I'm currently using right now? Because no matter what my game ends up being I probably won't be the source of the models for it anyway, so who cares what I use temporarily until I get a modeler.



Basically the unfortunate thing about a project like this is that it gets a quick burst of attention where everyone wants a part of it. But if the creators rush just to get a cute little 2d game with cameos from all our favorite forumers, it'll be really popular for a while. Then once people play it and see they're not in it, they'll no longer give a stuff. It's unfortunate but for a game like this you really need to make sure it can stand on its own merits and not just be a showcase for peoples egos, or else no one will be talking about it next week.

Why did I think someone was gonna bring up perennial lol

It looks like a cool game but I don't really know much about it.
All I know is that most of the people on the forum would rather he work on Blockland than anything else.

but people dig perennial here i'm fairly certain i mean i dig it i love any platformer with sliding and some nice colors

Id totally be that awful guy denying everybody access to an area as Id claim to "hate them" ensuing a battle of hatred.

Well anyways I thought that like, pixel art was easy but then i learned you have to be a bit more precise because, since you have less to work with you have to be more exact with how something comes out, whereas like when you're drawing something you could cover up some parts by exaggerating other parts and such. And like I thought let's playing was easy, off topic but still, I never knew how difficult it was to keep talking and be entertaining along with it even though there is a topic to talk about right infront of you. I mean I've actually been god damn practicing, for example I pick up something in the room, like uhh some tissues, and I try to talk about a tissue for 5 minutes. Pretty hard. But yeah I guess what I'm trying to say is I think we take what others do for granted a lot of things do take more effort than it seems but i know that's not even the arguement.

I'd love to be in this... As whatever a tuxedo-wearing creepbear could be.

Glass boss: only 230 health but after that runs out he splits into 2 more of himself with 230 health it goes on and on for a while
Skip Townsfold: Can be unlocked as a playable character after winning in a fight after calling him "skippy"
Tezuni boss: Traps you in his jail the only way out is to kill the freekillers and get kicked
Camera townsfold/ally: dragons
kompressor boss: can make the area have shaders making it extremely dark and can remove certain parts of the map
Drunk russian boss: Slows you down (DDosing)

What is he story? Is the tbm cult revived by spencer2015 in an attempt to take over Blockland?
