Author Topic: What is the point of an overpriced "gaming" mouse  (Read 5517 times)

hey if you want a mouse that is:
-american made (maybe)
-has a thumb rest
-has a pinky rest
-has good sensitivity
-has keys you can program
then you're not going to spend like $20
lol how much more rich and pampered can you get with a computer mouse.
i like to rough it military style with a simple barebone laser mouse with a wire cord.

it keeps me tough when i game!!!

I've had a Razer mouse (cheapest model) for two and a half years...the mousewheel's starting to act up though. Every mouse I've had before that is some stuffty Chinese thing that literally falls apart if the wire is tugged too hard.

This is overkill, but I would still like one.

Someone I know actually has one of those, or something similar...he uses the small screen for TeamSpeak.

The USS Enterprise called, they want their control pad back.

i use

its part of a mouse and keyboard combo, but ya
i hate having buttons on the side, accidently press them -.-
besides i llike small mice ;(
ive found that wireless mouses tend to be really awful for gaming
cause they cant seem to replicate the finer movements needed to aim in FPS's
oh and they are generally just buggy and dont work well, at least for me

Not if you play FPS games!
I tried to play Blockland with that before.
I could barely build a basic house without giving up in frustration lol.

Funny you should mention that.
A lot of gaming mice are ergonomic, to, you know, STOP discomfort for gamers.
i like ambidextrous mice because sometimes i use my mouse with my left hand when my other hand is busy
can't really do that with an ergonomic one

My mouse has the LMB, RMB, scroll wheel, and 2 buttons on the side
It's all I need

Not if you play FPS games!
i can play FPS games fine
maybe i've just adapted

Here is my mouse

Still works like new even after 5 years and I'm extremelly satisfied with it, yet I could buy 8 or 10 of those with the price of that "gaming" mouse
I have the same one, but wireless.

mine was cheap but the only thing i dont like about it is that the blue light doesnt turn off when my pc is off at night
I have this mouse too.

this is my mouse:

I thought it'd be super useful when I first got it but I almost never use those buttons on the side lmao

wanna trade, i tought i wouldn't need buttons but now i do

oh, wrong kind of mouse?
damnit and i edited this perfectly too

wanna trade, i tought i wouldn't need buttons but now i do

I don't understand why would anyone buy a Razer for a ad litteram plain mouse. My mouse at the same price has better specs and features than it even.
