how was GSF's maps doing mirrors? it looked like it was modifying the view somehow because you couldn't see yourself in them in first person

and didn't seem to lag too much, probably because it was only one mirror though

What map was this on? I could look on v20.

Also, there are mirrors in blockland, atleast there were, in vanilla. I remember my buddy EmperorWiggy spawning a huge mirror and we could look at ourselves in it, oh wait, that was in The Orange Block

Because bricks in v0002/tob use staticshapes. You can't even have 10k of those without them lagging as much as 200k bricks in retail.

I can't find any downloads for slate_mirror, and I don't know what you mean from 'that one house of his'

Apparently the mirror feature was removed along the way but I think I have v9 lying around somewhere.

doesn't torque have support for footprints?

I thought I saw some datablock classes or something relating to this

doesn't this have to do with texture baking n stuff

Hopefully this can be done, I'm not sure why not.

It were possible at one point. It causes framerate issues and you can't see yourself when in first person.

Here is where foot prints make no sense.

How the hell do you make foot prints on a plastic lego brick?

TGE includes an efficient decal system which Badspot removed in v20.

The mirrors don't need to render 100% of the map
Just let it fade to grey after 20 some bricks.

In America, you make footprint on ground.

In Legoland, ground make footprint on YOU!

The studs will definitely make a print on your feet.
