Author Topic: Going to San Fran  (Read 685 times)

yeah, my spring break is starting and im gonna be there for a week or two

I have no idea what its like and we are going to drive there

I had a friend go there but he wont tell me what its like

my dad is up in S.F. and we are going to visit him. He is staying in Sunnyvale, but we going to stay in San Francisco.

Me and my mom took a vacation out to SF a couple weeks ago. It's really great :)

Going to LA on Thursday.

I was just there oh my gaaaaaaawd

Its so fantastic. What I would do in San Francisco is:

Go to Russian Hill. You can take the trolley there. It's touristy, but fun as hell.
Russian Hill has some seriously cool buildings; and if you like tapas, go to Zarzuela's. It's really fantastic I would recommend the sausage.
Then I'd go to Inner Richmond, just to see how boring it is.
Definitely go to the Haight & Inner Sunset, they're really nice neighborhoods. Walk around. I stayed in the Sir Francis Drake a while ago, and it was fantastic, too. Right in front of the trolley.
The Tenderloin, south of Market and Powell, is stuffty and I'm pretty sure I saw crack dealers. Don't go there.
City Lights is a good place, and there's an Italian restaurant nearby that has great gnocchi.

If you're gonna drive there, its amazing. If you're taking the PCH (Which I HIGHLY ENDORSE. Do not go any other way because its stuffty. PCH takes you up the cliffs and near the beach and stuff), go to Big Sur and eat at Nepenthe. It has great views and good food. The fries are McDonalds tier.

If you can afford it, ask your parents to go at solvang, it's not spectacular unless you're a tourist but hey they have some nice shops and bakeries

love san francisco!!
they have the best ice cream!!!

go to alcatraz if you can

holy forget I was just in solvang yesterday and it was okay

I live an hour north of SF in Sonoma County *funfact*

But I highly recommend you to go to the "Let's Be Frank" hot dog cart at The Warming Hut on Crissy Field. I personally do not like hot dogs but these ones are so high quality that they don't even taste like a hot dog (In a good way).

If you don't like that stuff go to The Academy of Sciences. They have these sick ass 4 story spheres I believe and an aquarium. Also I saw an Albino Alligator there. don't know what it was doing there but it was there.

For dinner at a restaurant go to Pacific Catch. It's in a really nice area of SF and a really nice restaurant, It's almost practically a hole in the wall but It stands out alot. The food there is loving amazing and is pretty much seafood along with some other things. It's Hawaii themed btw. Here's a link to the one I'm talking about (apparently theres two). If seafood isn't your thing theres plenty of nice restaurants in the city.

For sightseeing, go to Twin Peaks. You won't be sorry. It's absolutely gorgeous up there and you can see almost the ENTIRE city. I'm not even loving joking. I took pictures last time I was up there and it's an amazing view.
Twin Peaks stuff

Also listen to Candy Apple, he knows his stuff.

Spend all your time in the Tenderloin, that's the nicest part.
You meet some really nice people there and the crack is really cheap and high quality :)
