So Albuquerque cops shot and killed a homeless man today.

So what happens in the video is that a (supposedly schizophrenic) homeless camper is standing above around 3-4 cops with assault rifles and bulletproof vests, and the cops flash bang him and tell him to get on the ground. The guy turns around and seemingly tries to walk away, pulls two pocket knives out of his pockets and the cops shoot him 6 times.

Never mind the fact that the point of a flashbang is to disable your sight and hearing.

Once he's on the ground they ask him to let go of the knives. Again, he's laying face down in a pool of blood. He said he can't move. The police then shoot him 3 times with a bean-bag shotgun.

This reminds me of the article I posted some time ago about the police shooting a robber in an attempt to immobilize and ends up shooting him 8 times everywhere but the knees. Things like this are sad but I'm starting to get used to it.
