Should I add increased BLID gathering abilities to Support_Updater and make a public, searchable list of BLIDs and names?

Would a dropbox directory be sufficient for this?

Poll added. Also, I'm working on an options menu and possibly some nice features like "silent updates", which the user can enable if they would like to.

Default please oh god that's nice

My to-do list:

  • On-demand dedi-server updating. checkForUpdates();
  • Automatic pre-startup dedicated server updating
  • Options menu
  • Silent updates

Added a poll because I'm curious.

I didn't enable it cause I like to see what's updating / what's been changed.

New update means that restarts won't be required as often. Also fixes issues that Pecon was having.

Greek, this isn't working for me. I've tried both of these repositories, neither seems to work:

http://bluetoothboymods.droppages.com/repository.txt

http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26821247/repository.txt

Both should be accessible via http. My version.txt's look like this:

Code: [Select]
version 1.1.0
channel release
repository bluetoothboymods.droppages.com/repository.txt
Code: [Select]
version 1.1.0
channel release
repository dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26821247/repository.txt

What am I doing incorrectly? All of those links (including the ones in the repository.txt's) are live, if you need to test them.

Neither of those links work for me. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Both work for me. What browser do you use?

Safari.

Hmm. Started working all of a sudden.

If you're going to do silent updates, please have a little corner notification saying "x has been updated" or something.

Did you get it figured out?

That would be nice.
