there's been like plenty of times where phones exploded
hell lithium ion batteries of all kinds, including in laptops, are printed with clear warnings that they can explode.

If you have a stuffty walmart phone with a stuffty chemical battery and you shake it or smash it and it bends in a certain way the chemicals react and they go hssssspooofoofof and sometimes kabwoo but it must be a very cheap battery
