Well, MM made one that does this, and there's VCE.  MM's is easier to use, but VCE is more flexible.

onActivate - self - VCEretrocheck - score - >= - #

onVariabletrue - client - centerprint - you bought a weapon!

onVariabletrue - player - additem/setitem - [item]

onVariabletrue - client - incscore - [-#]

onVariablefalse - client - centerprint - You broke muthaforgeta
