You missed the not as portable part. I would like to be able to actually put my portable console in my pocket.
And it's only a $40 price difference if your already going to be spending over $100 on something you might as well throw in a little extra to up the quality.

I didn't miss it, I just didn't address it because it's actually reasonable, but to say you won't buy something small used for entertainment purposes even though it has all the functions of the thing that you want just because it looks ugly is stupid. Of course if you only want the 3D part of the 3DS then okay. (Even though it hurts eyes like a motherforgeter)
