well if you kinda pull similarities visually from older systems i'd say that the ds a polished handheld n64 and the 3ds is a polished handheld gamecube~
but of course it's not really like that
i'd just say the game doesn't look finished yet so i wouldn't know
i'd imagine nintendo is giving it their all for smash as of now so i dunno how much of nintendo is working on this

Well first of all, its a handheld.

Second of all, the 3DS can do better than that. It's just that there has been a bit more room left in the performance so there can be multiple things on the screen and so on.
