But I can't say whether this is because the general quality of servers dropped or because my interests changed as I got older.

I agree we this, I think the main reason why it's like this is because a lot of our new users are younger kids and they don't want to go through the hassle of downloading dozens of add-on files. I think the solution to this would be for Badspot to make many useful tools default.

I am working on getting BBB back up again this summer, I've talked to Alphadin about it.
I am also working on What Remains, but it's going downhill fast since we still need a lot of buildings and have had like no progress for the past week or so.

And if I finish both of those things I might continue working on my death race revival.
I think a lot of good servers are still WIP and need help.
