At least it's original. I'd actually prefer it to most of the TT Games titles. Hellbent need to get contracted more by LEGO, because it's pretty clear they've got talent and they understand the source material.

I remember when I got the LEGO Masterpiece Pack at Costco a long time ago.

The first LEGO Creator was like the Garry's Mod of my childhood. I built mediocre aircrafts and houses while that wizard stared at me the whole time, but I didn't mind. What I hated about Creator was that it lags on any computer I use when the creation gets heavy.

I loved and played the stuff out of LEGO Island. It was fun crashing into the inhabitants just to see them spin in the air. I also caused some vehicles to run on their own like they're possessed. The game also encouraged me to like pizzas and doughnuts; I don't know how that works, but it did.

I'll probably type more about my thoughts about the other games that I own.

I don't understand why those movies needs a Lego game out of it, it's all the same bullstuff since the very first one that uses the same formula (Lego Star Wars) it's getting old and they should stop doing the same stuff over and over just with different characters from a different movie, and a scenario that's nothing like lego, and when there is lego bricks, you have to break it or build a path with it, I miss those old lego games when there is actual lego stuff going on, not a character on his lego form doing the same go somewhere and follow a path, fight a round of enemies, get a key to activate a switch, open a gate, use another character to go somewhere where you can't reach, always gets followed by one or two more characters where you have to change between them for certain parts, this is the same since the very first game and very few changes have been made.

You gotta admit, and I agree with Smosh Games. Dr. Who would make an okay game.

No I don't agree, I want to see actual LEGO games, games where you're in a world that is actually being built out of Legos, with a story of it's own, and characters of it's own, with a whole different formula (hence Lego Island, Lego Racers, and so on) not the same stuff I see every year just with another movie as a skin, and I'm pretty sure if Doctor Who ever get a lego game it would be the exact same thing, you go there, use different characters all the time, open up gates and places for everyone to pass, fight a round of enemies, collect all of those studs lying around to unlock stuff, the same stuff I see since lego star wars, and in my opinion I'm sick of it.

Oh I see what you mean. Yeah, I guess Lego could be more creative in making more original titles.

I can do this shenanigan with the skateboard, bike, car, motorcycle, and jetski; however, if I did this with the helicopter, the game somehow breaks. I put the vehicle on its maximum speed, then I exit out of the vehicle. What's fun about this is that the vehicle follows an AI's path; it would accidentally run into some inhabitants on the way. It's best if I use the motorcycle.

Haha helicopter of mass destruction and game breaking!

My opinion on this is "don't fix what isn't broken".
The style is still fun and entertaining and it works. I expect that sort of gameplay from the lego TT games. I don't go in expecting innovation, but look to see a gamestyle I enjoy with a theme I love.

I will admit that it would be much nicer if Lego expanded it's video game industry and let other developers produce their own games with their own storylines, themes, characters and gameplay.
TT can continue to make their games, because they're fun, and tried and tested. But if there were other people making different Lego games, then that would be great too.

I do feel sorry for the Lego-game fans who don't enjoy (or are bored of) the Travellers Tales games, since they're the only Lego games consistently put out anymore.

ill make a better logo if you want because
ew is logo

Except that the formula is extremely broken.

So you're quite happy having the gaming equivalent of a greasy burger and paying $60+ for it? All you do is walk around, smash bricks and OCCASIONALLY do some other type of repetitive task. There's no deeper gameplay, and we're forgetting the bugs, the railroading and player hand-holding, the poor AI and a whole list of other terrible design choices.

Other people are, but they're not nearly as famous because nobody wants to wake and realise that TT is doing it WRONG.

Because people are either too scared or are simply too overpowered by visual stimuli (sometimes the bricks looks okay) to demand quality gameplay. And that annoys me. We I see fangames made by kids in Unity that are horribly buggy that at least recognise there's more to being "LEGO" than just being made out of LEGO bricks, then you have a problem.

I totally agree Jobless

Yes.
I enjoy it. I find the games entertaining. They're based on themes/franchises I enjoy, and they don't take themselves seriously. I can have a laugh while playing, and I can have fun playing it with a friend too.
And for most of their games, which are mostly based off of Movies, I don't need it to be an in-depth accurate recreation of the film. I've seen the film and can buy the official Movie Game. So if TT is offering me a Lego version with silly gameplay where I walk through the game doing simple actions, that's fine.

I don't need deep gameplay for every single game I play. This is one of those light games that I find fun and look forward to playing. Doesn't matter if it doesn't change the gameplay up much, since I'm buying the game for the gameplay it already has.

I don't mind spending £30-£40 for it. No one is forcing me to spend that money, and I don't go in to the purchase expecting something different.
