Author Topic: In your opinion, what would be the best game ever?  (Read 5581 times)

If a sequel to Blockland will ever be made on a modern optimized engine with a bunch of new features and possibilities I'll be very happy

A Space Station 13 remake/sequel that isn't on the byond engine.

A fully interactive game where it's practically like real life in terms of physics and how everything acts
but it's also science fiction, and takes place in my personal universe

get in a fighter, fly around in space dogfighting enemy fighters
land the ship on planets or bail out through the airlock mid-descent and go skydiving
fire torcreepes at an enemy ship and fly your ship into the hole; eject before impact to cause heavy damage to enemy ship
land on the planet with your ship and explore underground caves and build your own home down there
travel across the surface of that giant planet and oh its just the most awesome thing ever

That's happening, actually.
yeah but i heard it's gonna be really terrible and the guys that made it are total pricks

A game where it's EXACTLY like real life, except you can "Shift" Driver: San Fransisco into other humans. Also make a multiplayer for that. Also there's a create a person The Sims! In create a person you can pick from whatever age, and the details are so stunning! You can also customize cars, kill people, and do other crap GTA. That's the game I want.

Also a glitch mode where physics are forgeted up.

A 3D Kirby game, with similar level design to Super Mario 64. Really, that's all I want out of video games: non-linear collectathon (though not quite as much so as Banjo-Kazooie). Kirby's copy abilities just make for a nice mechanic.

i've really been thinking about this and its always different every month depending on what game i'm playing
since ive been playing rpgs a ton lately i envision an rpg with a deep battle system (i tend to like rpgs in which you have to put button inputs for certain attacks) and a lot of character customization

a Shores of Hazeron that works well

Oh, you forgot worse better vehicle physics.

Sword Art Online
Please no.

The best video game would need to embrace values far beyond anything we've seen today. It would need to grasp on to the very nature of what video games are; teaching tools, and it would need to communicate, persuade and educate a giant audience.

The best video game ever would teach us what it means to be human. A good human. And by that, it wouldn't just tell us directly. It would give us the means for us to find out for ourselves.

Everything you just said describes sword art online.

You know what, on second thought, you're completely right.

One copy of Sword Art Online, please.

I would love a game where you can build your own maps, weapons, and other stuff. Plus, you can make other genres of games. And it would all be in an easy to use interface.

So in other words, Blockand and Little Big Planet combined.

Or this
