Author Topic: In your opinion, what would be the best game ever?  (Read 5631 times)

/title

Describe what would be the most perfect game in existence.  You can mix and match already existing games or introduce brand new concepts.

In my opinion, the best game ever would be a mixture of Fuel, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Driver: San Francisco, and Gran Turismo 6, but most heavily based on Driver.

Driver:
- somewhat fantasy (yet somewhat realistic) vehicle physics
- very realistic vehicle damage
- concept of using licensed traffic/player cars
- replay data/film director
- urban settings

Test Drive:
- ability to enter buildings
- buying things such as houses and the existence of car dealers
- exploration
- turn signals, convertible roofs, radio, etc

Fuel:
- insanely large amount of free roaming area

Gran Turismo:
- customization
- interactive cameras
- vehicle options (TCS, ABS, etc)
- large amount of available licensed cars

Other:
- multiple maps of great size
- better AI (traffic doesn't just plow through obstacles and stuff)
- ability to exit your car and walk around (Grand Theft Auto, Driver 2, etc)
- stoplights and intersections
- better interaction with police

So yeah, post your opinions on what you'd pay the most money and pull strings for just to have.

ot: the best game ever is probably a game that will never exist

A game with full character customization, that lets you populate your world with people that you can also customize, create gangs and police systems etc. No guns, just swords and fists, with a realistic skeletal system for damage.

Tabletop Simulator is the best game.

one that has something new every time i get bored of the last thing

Some kind of shooter with an arma-like map and mechanics (compass, map items etc) but manages to keep a good pace with plenty of configurable options to tune it to your liking

in fact, any game that has some extremely drastic settings
like the designers all made their own version of the game and put each of their games into the settings lending the game some crazy replayability

ultra super realistic grand strategy game

a fighting game that lets you do anything with crazy visuals

I just realized that Tom Clancy's The Division is pretty much my idea that I posted about awhile ago.

Except it's set in a city and not the Middle East

ultra super realistic grand strategy game

This and you could zoom in and literally micromanage everything if you actually wanted to.

OR

Some game where you could create your own RTS wether it be sci-fi or steam punk, you can create your own units having extremely in-depth customization. Also with hyper-realistic damage models.

a mixture of the best stuff from like every game
and then some stuff that isn't in anything yet
like, a sandbox game, that lets you control stuff down to the atoms, but the maps you make can still be as large as something like GTAV or Skyrim
and you'd even be able to control stuff about the physics
and of course there would be presets for settings and maps and stuff

that would be too cool
