Define Atheism.

I saw a video where someone went around asking people on the street if they were athiests.  It got me thinking about whether I was an atheist or not.  So I wrote down some of my thoughts on that.  Enjoy if you want.  If you tend to get upset or highly emotional over things like this please don't bother.  I'm more interested in rational thought than your feelings on the matter.

The real way to go if you do not want a religion is apatheism- basically, not caring and not giving anyone else crap about it.

To one person, a gay person might be someone who dresses in pink and rainbow and shouts about his rights as a gay member of society.  To another person, a gay person might be their Uncle who raped them as a child, and has made them keep quiet about it ever since.

Most of what you've written doesn't make any sense or doesn't actually say anything at all. It's like you wanted to sound smart about something and wrote pages of things that could have been summed up by "I dunno maybe there is a god but I do like the lessons the bible/whatever teaches"

Being an atheist doesn't mean you aren't religious, it just means you don't believe in a god.

There probably are some religions that can be considered atheistic, Buddhism perhaps.

Or Unitarian-Universalism. It is entirely possible to have a religion without believing in a higher power.

There's gnostic atheists and agnostic atheists.  Big difference between the two.
