you don't have to make everything loving perfect
just make it as good as you can and release it, let the people decide if its good or bad.

as good as I can = flawless in my eyes

ie, as loving perfect as I can make it

and that looked damn stuffty to me, I was going for a sleek, menacing, LMG-type laser, and none of those words describe that thing

the second model I made comes a lot closer to my intentions/requirements

I read the last page, you loving doofus. I'm just saying most of takato's submissions actually would do well as a mod but he thinks they're so horrible. Its reasonably selfish to dislike a model but if you know people are going to like it don't share it.

I didn't think anyone would like any of these because of how much bullstuff they have going on

Not if you dislike it, but if you don't release it to people who would actually want it just because it doesnt look up to par with you.

I'm pretty sure people will like it, as long as it looks finished and isn't just 2 boxes put together someone will like it.
even if it isn't flawless you should still release it and maybe fix it up instead of complaining about how bad it looks?

Personally, i'm not crazy over the models either, they're all quite huge compared to the handle and the Blockhead in general

There is something else about them that i don't like, but i can't quite put my finger on it...

they look simplistic, but that's good because blocklands art style is simplistic

we don't need details popping out of every part of something

none of the models he's posted are remarkably good, of course some aren't all too bad but they all have noticable flaws

The point of this thread is for attention. The issue is that instead of positive "lol that's bad" attention, he's receiving negative "wow that's good" attention.

It's all just flipped backwards.
