14" laptop @ 1600x900 with 750m

or

15.6" laptop @ 1920x1080 with 765m

Both with i7 4700MQ.

I'm not looking for opinions on what screen resolution or size to get, I just need to know which one will perform better with gaming.

Thanks.

I dont see why people want laptops for gaming, you need a mouse for it to be good.

you do realise you can plug mouses to laptops

Yes...

I basically said you need to do that.

I dunno...  I'm about to deploy to the middle east for 6 months? And I totally plan to never plug in a mouse.

Thanks for the helpful post.

If you could say that then it would help.

How does that change what I'm asking? Jesus, dude. Read the OP again.

well according to a google search that i7 4700MQ isnt as good as other cards but if you're gonna just kill time with random games it should be okay

the bigger laptop may be a LITTLE BIT slower, but hey it's still bigger.

It helps so people wont say what I said.

That's the processor. I'm asking which graphics card will perform better at their respective resolutions.

What you said was unneeded and I don't think any one else would have posted it.

yeah i'd say get the larger one. it's graphics card is much better (according to a google search so i might be horribly wrong)

In MW3, the 765m performed at 73 FPS. The 760 performed at 63.7 FPS.

Expect a little bit different results, but the 765 is the way to go from what you can tell.

This is what you are fighting for. Snake_Snaked freedom of stupidity.

OT: I would go with the 15".

It's actually a rather tricky question. The 765m is obviously faster than the 760m, but on the other hand it has to drive a somewhat higher-res screen. I don't know whether the extra grunt in the faster chip is able to offset the higher load.

Nvm I'm dumb; I misread the specs for the small one, and thought it had a 760 instead of the 750. The one with the bigger screen is the way to go, assumong you can carry it comfortably.
