Laughed my ass off. Get over it, the child isn't going to die or even get any serious injuries. A couple of scrapes at most. I've been pushed off 7 foot ramps and landed head first (w/ helmet) and loving laughed about it for days.
We have a lot to learn from the dad.
Serious injuries could definitely happen
It's a ramp dude.
what is your point?
If you fall down a ramp like that, the worst that's going to happen is that you'll scrape yourself, but if you notice, the kid is completely padded up. You can't break bones if you aren't suddenly getting stopped by a wall/flat surface. It's physics, or something.
He probably hit pretty close to the bottom (aka the flat part) even if he didnt hit the exact bottom he fell pretty farDislocation and broken bones are an easy possibility
Eh, I'm not sure. But point being, I don't think this is an abusive parent. It was a questionable decision, definitely, but I wouldn't equate it to him trying to intentionally hurt his kid.
Your brown townogy sucked because it centered on the idea that pushing a kid down a 5 foot skate ramp can kill them. I give it 3/10.I'm pretty sure that the father was just trying to get his cautious kid to 'man up' and skate down the ramp. It's just a slightly more reckless version of pushing a kid off a diving board into a pool. No one's going to die.Think, 'pushing a kid down skate ramp' versus 'breaking a kid's knees with a tire iron'.One is questionable parenting, one is abuse. Only the latter should be investigated by the police.
