i run on intel graphics btw, and all i get to play due to my stuffty computer is either retro-styled games or low graphic games.

Try looking through the games localized by Nyu Media, they're all low-spec indie games that run fine on my craptop. They're mostly scrolling shooters, but Croixleur and Fairy Bloom Freesia are beat'emups.
