If they are going to do WW2 they should throw in some newer factions like the Italians, Hungarians, Romanians, and Fins for Axis. Germany and Japan are too over done and end up the main badguys in any WW2 game. For the Allies they should Poland, France, Norway.

It's a mod, and I'm not sure how active it is anymore.
Gamemode aside, the map is also full of different models of tonk and plane, so if you have a friend with the same mod you can still have a good time just trying out new equipment and murdering each other.

I would love a new Battlefield for pc set in realistic WWII with a really long story mode.  There's Battlefield 1943 but I honestly enjoy the campaign better than online most of the time. I have bad internet anyway

Also, why hasn't the Korean War been made into a game? Or even had much attention for that matter? Hell, that whole war was barely even touched on in school, we just went from WWII to Vietnam, with Korea being a footnote that amounted to "also this happened".

There are but they're all stuff.

If you have Mount & Blade Warband you can check out some mods people made.
There's mods set as early as ancient Rome to the Star Wars time period.
