Then you did something wrong.
If you do it right, the most that will happen is Windows being like "hey this computer looks different you need to reactivate your installation" which is just a few clicks

Its linked to the BIOS, I found out because when my BIOS got forgeted and I had to replace the chip, and it asked me to re-activate.

No, I did it when I built my new computer. Before the OS and hdd got here.
