Ok, don't get me wrong here, obesity is a major problem and the percentages in our nation are horrible. People need to exercise and eat better to maintain a stable and healthier lifestyle. That's all good, but my god, can some of you take a freaking chill pill? You're acting unbelievably hostile towards people suffering from being overweight. It is gross because those are millions of people who are suffering from a disease that is going to lower their lifespan and quality of life significantly. It's the same way I think it's disgusting that 15% of people in South Africa have HIV. I'm recognizing that it's a terrible issue, not saying that I hate people with HIV.

I misunderstood his post, and I'm sorry for that, but did he have to include that whole thing about "if your fat go loving workout and eat healthier youre a loving joke"? I mean I can complain about him being a stupid pothead all I want, but I'm not going to call all drug users loving sad because it's a problem. And I still dont think that obesity just goes away like that, its a long process and I'm still really insecure even though I know people who are three times my weight nor am I even fat but it concerns me nonetheless

Nah I agree with you, he's being insensitive. I'm just pointing out that thinking that a social problem is terrible isn't the same thing as hating the people affected by a social problem.
