Because people like to propel their own problems in a desperate bid for attention.

I find that if you ignore these kinds of articles and Tumblr, the irrelevant problems disappear.

i mean im a fan of gay rights but REALLY?

just gay rights? because nintendo has rights to do as they please you know.
im all about pushing your own beliefs on others. expecially when they can opt out.

it's harder to ignore them when you are just trying to find pictures of the new game

i can't even
what kind of people are pressuring Nintendo of all people to make characters be able to be gay in their game
like
does this even loving matter
it's literally a comedy game

let's quote the article

""I want to be able to marry my real-life fiancé’s Mii, but I can’t do that," Marini said in a video posted online that attracted the attention of gaming blogs and online forums this week. "My only options are to marry some female Mii, to change the gender of either my Mii or my fiancé’s Mii or to completely avoid marriage altogether and miss out on the exclusive content that comes with it."

Tye Marini, a gay 23-year-old Nintendo fan from Mesa, Arizona, launched the campaign last month, urging Osaka, Japan-based Nintendo Co. and its subsidiary Nintendo of America Inc. to add same-love relationship options to English versions of the hand-held Nintendo 3DS.

Marini isn’t calling for a boycott of “Tomodachi Life” but instead wants supporters to post on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #Miiquality, as well as write to Nintendo and ask the company to include same-love relationships in an update to “Tomodachi Life” or in a future installment."

well thats kinda
gay

alright why doesnt any game allowed its users to be transloveual, like wtf. only male or female, obviously the entire transloveual population is being discriminated and all video games should be boycotted.

#miiquality
are you loving serious
are people boycotting nintendo for this bullstuff?

Hooray for the removal of artistic expression!

I like how people now have the expectation that spamming a lot of posts and using hashtags are going to change a company's mind.

Good for you, random gay dude, but frankly if stuff like this continues, we'll soon get to a point where the minimum for making an RPG character generator is having at least 14 genders and the game must recognise 20 different loveual statuses.

don't get me started on the inanimate object population not being represented

Nintendo doesn't have to cater to these loving hacks.

Nintendo already apologized and said it was too late to do anything about it. This is old news
