Author Topic: Adjustable Brick Sizes?  (Read 4699 times)

And here we have another handicap that doesn't understand when certain things can not be done. forget off.
oh my god seriously stop please
100% possible. Though Badspot won't add it in.
Completely possible, depends on whether or not Badspot finds it necessary. Zeblote is being stubborn again.
I think it's possible, but it would be messy
your logic in a nutshell:
OP: *anything which hasn't already been done*
Zeblote: impossible

oh my god seriously stop pleaseyour logic in a nutshell:
Are you really this stupid? A couple of idiots claiming something to be possible does not make it possible.

There is only one way for resizeable bricks to be done, and that is if Badspot decides to implement it. Obviously, as soon as you bring Badspot or kompressor in the picture almost everything becomes possible, too bad that they never implement the cool things suggested here, so that argument is invalid.

you think you know loving everything and come to suggestions and requests just to ruin peoples ideas and just say its impossible

I don't want to ruin people's ideas. In fact, I like this idea and want it since I first played roblox a few years ago.

The problem is that we can not do it and that badspot most likely won't do it.

And now, kindly forget off.

exactly my point right here

So why are you still here then?

How about only resizing to a possible brick in the brick menu.
Like having a 14 wide brick and increasing the width and it becomes 16 wide.
Or going from a plate and increasing its height would make it a full brick of the same dimensions.

This would be entirely possible.
And maybe it is even easier to build.

But then you're back to using specific bricks, and you still can't resize it to the 19x7 double plate that you need right now.

zeblote is such an idiot, heh
so dismissive of everything, and wrong pretty often
and can't recognize when he's wrong

anyway, this is possible but wouldn't be effective

Could be possible for an 8x8 cube though, but would require 1536 datablocks lol (is that over the limit?)

½(82 + 8) * 20 = 720 datablocks

Even if I didn't eliminate bricks which were the same sans a rotation (2x1x20 and 1x2x20, for example), it's still only
8 * 8 * 20 = 1280 datablocks

I'm kind of curious how you got your 1536 datablocks.

Put a 1x1, a 1x2, a 1x3, and a 1x4 in the brick cart, then scroll. Ive already talked to bedpost and this add on is now default for everyone

He thought an 8x cube would be 8 bricks high. 8 * 8 * 24 = 1536.

Or you could use static shapes?
Even though they're inefficient you can still do some pretty loving cool stuff with them.
