It's also not "just the internet". There are plenty of places that are level-headed and mature, where situations are dealt with appropriately. Arguments are generally educated and non-derogatory. Those places are also mostly people over the age of 18. Coincidence? I think not. Here, it's just stuff slinging. I guess that's what you have to put up with in a forum full of angsty teenagers. :\
Yeah, we do treat each other like stuff, which I may even do at times. There are even some of us are quite rude/pretentious almost all of the time (Furdle, Bisjac, etc). I really don't see why it isn't banable anymore to just come out of nowhere and just be an ass to someone for as little as contributing to a thread about Pictures. Also, the constant de-railing and unfunny jokes, especially the "This guy" and the meme ones. This is why I can't say that this forum is anything close to one of the best places, unlike most of the people here. I've seen way more maturity on another Lego based game forum, even when it came to religious arguments, there wasn't anything close to a "forget" being thrown throughout it, with both sides just stating their beliefs and so on.
