You have no future if you think a D is an acceptable grade
was this actually necessary though. you have no idea what's going on in his life, for one thing, and it's none of your business what is, either

you're putting all this utility and living stuff into Argentinian perspective.
Because I've never lived anywhere else.

skinny is good for me cuz im skinny too

a little bit of fat is fine but if they start getting a noticable amount of belly fat and such im turned off

It's not very kind to judge someone by their weights, i prefer mine coloured pink than just being a reshaped bar of iron

Because I've never lived anywhere else.

then why post? you're not contributing to the subject at hand, which is in an american perspective.

back to the ORIGNAL subject

as long as I can fap to them without imagining snapping them or being suffocated

if they're trying to improve it's okay
This. I hate the extremes also.

He's converting it to USD and the resulting price in these areas is around the name as what US citizens pay
It doesn't matter.

I'm not saying it to be mean or judgemental or anything. I'm saying it because it's true. An employer doesn't want to hire someone who gets D's when they could hire someone who gets A's. Even if there's a well-paying field where employers don't care about your grades, settling for mediocrity and not even attemping for average is a terrible habit to get into and will forget him over if he does it in any field

You're missing the main point hill

You need to loving try in school and stop making excuses not to

If you want to have a decent house, a nice car, and INSURANCE you need to bust your ass in high school to get there, because those are the most important years of your LIFE.
Even if you're in elementary at the moment, trying harder now will get you into the habit so you won't have [as much] trouble in high school

may i just point out this:
and i won't be living alone out of high school, because me and a mate are getting an apartment for college.
so you're gonna be making minimum wage to get absolutely nothing to help pay while your mate breaks their back just to afford the rent?
sounds like a relationship that will last a loooonnnggg time.

I haven't really heard of employers that require your transcripts. They usually just ask for a high school degree if that's the requirement.

yeah c is where it's at

like I said, you don't know anything about him
you can't say what is or what isn't acceptable
my grades don't matter to me. all that I care about is graduating and being able to get a job that could provide the necessities for me
it doesn't matter why I feel that way. it's none of your business unless I want to share it with you. but if you tell me that I have no future because I'm not living up to your standards, you are definitely being mean and judgmental

Getting a part time job through college is definitely a good idea because it gives you some work experience. But with the disproportional increase between living expenses and wages, moving out with a part time job, which will most likely be at or slightly above minimum wage, even with another person doing the same, isn't as feasible anymore

Whoops.

People with low grades don't get as high paying jobs, or have a harder time finding them, as people with high grades.
Not caring about your grade is a bad habit to get into that will hurt you if you continue it in college.
Perhaps they way I worded my original statement was harsh, but these statements aren't me passing any sort of judgement at all. They're facts of life. It has nothing to do with my standards, it's the employer's standards. Employers don't want to hire someone with low grades when they can hire someone with high grades. Employers don't want to hire someone that has demonstrated that they don't want to even try to perform even averagely

But here is something judgmental: If all he has to do to raise his grade on this assignment is change the poll options to less silly ones, then he'd be stupid not to.

Also if you settle for a D, it doesn't take much for that to drop to an F, and that'll really hurt you by requiring you to retake the class, which will cost you financially in college

Not transcripts, but being able to listing a high GPA on your resume will help you more than listing a low/no GPA

Depends on the circumstance and if they're trying to get rid of the weight. I see being overweight being unable to care for yourself properly, one thing that has to be true for me to find attraction in a woman. Therefore if you're overweight and making no attempt at fixing the issue, I do not find you attractive.
