Petition for Badspot to Alter Zone Gravity to Work With Vehicles

    Zone gravity does not work, and never has worked, on vehicles or items or projectiles. For my purposes (Realistic Space Mod), items and projectiles can be worked around, but if vehicles don't work within zones I have exactly three options, all unappealing.

• Have players without vehicles, meaning there's always a definite up and down.
• Have a velocity loop on the vehicles, which is very very visible to anyone with a latency above TEN.
• Change the gravity constant for vehicles, making the gamemode permanently unreleasable.

    This is an example of a problem that simply cannot be worked around from the script level. I really want to continue work on RSM, but I don't see a way to continue to make it more realistic without being able to affect vehicles with zone gravity.

I am not insinuating that he hates his game at all, but I can understand why people would be a little concerned.

Aside from drama, moving topics around, and banning a few people, he really isn't doing anything. Yeah he really doesn't 'owe' us anything, especially since an ideal sandbox game should be able to take care of itself. Problem being, it's the modders who do such a thing, and it's the modders that are complaining about things not being fixed.

Mods really make this game what it is

It's strikes me as absolutely insane that badspot wouldn't do everything he could to support modders. I don't see people pestering him for content, I see people pestering him to fix the broken stuff that is restricting them from making content. It mostly confuses me from a business standpoint. I don't see how the "better stuff on the people who want to invest their own time creating content for my game" mindset is sustainable. With his performance in the kalphiter topic, I don't see it changing either, shame really.
