Author Topic: I am going to be learning how to bike this weekend!  (Read 2326 times)

Mine was almost $900 because I used to hike up mountains and ride down their trails with friends pretty often. I don't do it much anymore but I try to get out every once in a while.
What type of bike?

It's a Cannodale. Retail for the bike is like $3400 but a guy on craigslist gave me a great deal because he was moving and needed to get rid of stuff. He supposedly use it only two times.

Nice. I'm saving up money to get some nice bikes that I can ride on the road and off road trails. Unfortunately because biking is an upper class white person hobby everything is way more expensive than it really needs to be, just like with golf.

I'm 15 and a half.
you don't masturbate and you cant ride a bike

It would help if we lived in a place that was better to do it.

Dang bro, sweet deal. Cannondales are top-o-the-line bikes.

I ride my bike every now and then during sunset while listening to my ipod. Its a pretty nice bike, had it since 8th grade. It goes fairly fast too.

Yeah I want to sell it though. I only get out a few times a year now and could use the money.

i swear to god every bike i ever bought needed to be fixed up at least once before it worked properly.

here i am trying to fix my gears and brakes because they keep getting loose over a period of time. in store it works perfectly fine but as soon as its out the door they automatically break or something

Caribou, 15-16 pretty sure.
And just now learning to bike?

This on so many levels

Unless you get a $500 bike its gonna need repairs

I'm going to be learning how to play the bass from this weekend until 12th grade. :)

A lot of the time factorie\s dont tighten everything down, so when you arent riding the bike, it seems like it in perfect condition, but when you ride it, you find some problems.

Thats what happened to my bike. The handle bars went loose on my way to work, so they would rotate, making it very hard to turn, change gears, etc.
Also, the left crank arm was made of a semi soft metal and the nut was kinda loose, so it eventually loosened, making it hard to pedal on that side. Also, when a crank arms nut is loosened, it strips the crank arm, ruining it.
Also, the kickstand got loose easily.
Easy to fix, but an inconvenience non the less. Not the stores fault, its just lazy manufacturing.
