i swear to god every bike i ever bought needed to be fixed up at least once before it worked properly.
here i am trying to fix my gears and brakes because they keep getting loose over a period of time. in store it works perfectly fine but as soon as its out the door they automatically break or something
A lot of the time factorie\s dont tighten everything down, so when you arent riding the bike, it seems like it in perfect condition, but when you ride it, you find some problems.
Thats what happened to my bike. The handle bars went loose on my way to work, so they would rotate, making it very hard to turn, change gears, etc.
Also, the left crank arm was made of a semi soft metal and the nut was kinda loose, so it eventually loosened, making it hard to pedal on that side. Also, when a crank arms nut is loosened, it strips the crank arm, ruining it.
Also, the kickstand got loose easily.
Easy to fix, but an inconvenience non the less. Not the stores fault, its just lazy manufacturing.
