Should have explained then. Terrible brown townogy.

it's not really an brown townogy

i think blok is trying to say "correlation does not equal causation", in regards to your "you could almost say it's because of all the guns that we're so safe" comment

Of course.

However the usual shtick uf "more guns = more violence" that is statistically not true
Therefore the only other option other then gun violence having no connection to gun ownership, is that gun ownership must be lowering violence.

uhhh no, im pretty sure that pizza hut has lowered gun violence. just look at the stats dude.

There are dozens of other factors at play here, its not just about gun ownership. The number of guns owned does not make anyone safer. All the people that were killed in the shootings could have still owned guns and been killed. Its clear that there is something about the United States that produces this sort of behavior because compared to any other place in the world it happens way more here in the US.

THEY'RE BOMBING THE FORUMS

I'm telling my dad.  He'll beat you guys up.

UPDATE: I should of posted this when it happened, but early this morning the gunmen in Moncton was arrested.

Quote
The Seattle Times, citing an unnamed police source, reported that the suspect is from Seattle.

KIRO-TV, also citing unnamed police sources, reported that the suspect "was obsessed'' with the 1999 Columbine High School shootings and had even traveled to the Colorado school where two students killed 15 people and wounded 21 others.

Oh look, media attention may have sparked the Seattle shooting

come on, the 21st century needs to get its stuff together

I don't think "ban guns" is really the logical way to go. It's not going to do anything, we just want to make it harder for regular people to get guns. You do know not everyone buys a gun with criminal intention? Even if they do commit a crime, it was possibly not their first intention in buying the weapon.

TBH this is the first time i'm actually wishing this thread didn't go in the direction of gun discussion seeing how there really wasn't any implication of it in the OP.

we need to keep better tabs on these mentally loving unstable people
its never normal forgetin people that commit these atrocities, its always the people that are forgeted up in the head

I don't know about you, but I don't know any normal person think "Today is boring, I'm going to go buy a gun and shoot many people for the hell of it."

what?

thats like what i just said?

And the crazies will attempt to hurt people by any means, regardless of whether they have access to firearms.

Well, you typed your post in way where it implied "Why don't normal people do this for a change?". Use structure and better grammar next time.
