Author Topic: Emergency Alert System Videos  (Read 2556 times)

The EAS is a system used on radio and television systems to alert the public about danger, be it weather, terrorist attacks, or other emergencies.

However, many YouTubers have created fictional videos of EAS alerts, meaning they are not real. They can be realistic, or just completely unreal.

Real ones can be from a actual battery radio (video footage), or just a remake using software.

Known creators are shelter345, theEAloveperience, and EASCreato[/url]. All make fictional EAS videos, but they also create regular ones for real alerts. "Scenarios" are considered long videos of several alerts (or a simulation of a single channel), and can get very...interesting.

Here are a few examples of some very strange videos.
RDD (Rainbow Dash Drones)
Plot: Scientists create geneticly engineered ponies that look like Rainbow Dash from MLP:FiM. However, when they make a sonic boom, nuclear outbreaks begin...Look, I'm not begging you to watch this, it's fictional...I don't even know...

Industrial Fire (part 1) (part 2)
Plot: A chemical industrial fire begins, and civil authorities begin to extinguish the fire. I have not watched it fully, but I'm assuming more damage will happen. It's nearly an hour long, so grab some popcorn.

A Nuclear Attack EAS Scenario: Live and Uncut
Plot: What would happen if you found out what happened when a man experiences a nuclear attack in the US?  You'll have to watch to find out.

Anyways, discuss these type of videos, and post some interesting ones.

the nuclear attack one scares me

we get several of these, esp with Spanish radio channels

Someone should do one about an inbound blackhole

I actually love these.

nuclear attack alerts help me sleep. they're actually very calming to me. i am not joking.

I used to watch those alot earlier, but the nuclear one and the instructions are very saddening.

how?

whenever an eas is turned on it my body freezes for like 30 seconds
then i go into robot mode and adrenaline kicks in
i do the things i need to do as fast as i can to get to shelter

pusillanimous individual. i stand outside and wait for the disaster to happen. not hide like a wuss

i hate the EAS ones that are IDEA/ONICS
where it's just a red screen with a bit of text
i don't remember the first line but I think the second line is IDEA/ONICS and the third is just EAS
