I took a look at the new Wolfenstein, I remember seeing that it had some really weird settings for graphics and that it was a really strange console port. It did seem pretty good though.

I beat it a day or two ago. Its an incredibly well thought out action shooter.

I've got no doubts that The New Order is at least an ok game since it looks relatively similar to Shadow Warrior 2013. But it's not worth loving $60 and it looks easy as all hell.

So that means it's automatically going to suck?

It means everyone who actually knew what they were doing is long gone. And even then, Doom 3 had some serious identity issues with itself.

Why are you collective forgets so adamant about 'no gameplay'? Why does it matter? Does the concept of 'teaser' or 'works in progress' not compute?

Does the fact that they literally did not SHOW US ANYTHING about the game compute?

They have had plenty of time to work on this game. And one of the creative directors from Doom 2 had worked on this, I think.

There is almost never gameplay in a teaser trailer you handicaps. That's why it's called a teaser.

Although Rage did suck, that was only one game they did. Chill out.

This game has been in development for 3 years (more, if you count all that time before they literally restarted from scratch in 2011). I'm not going to have very high hopes if all they have to show is a Cyberdemon.
