E3 2014 video for No Man's Sky
Main website

Planetary Exploration meets Space Combat meets GIVE ME NOW PLEASE. I'll put more info in here as I find it, maybe this can become a megathread.

UPDATE: Got some info:
- Planets will be procedurally generated - No planet will be the same!
- Appears to be an optional story: Head to the center of the galaxy. Doesn't have to be followed :D
- PS4 Exclusive - Still a maybe on this one, but I don't think ports will come until after release
  - "No Man's Sky will launch "console-first" on PS4, though there's no release date as yet." (The Verge)
PCGamer confirmed a while back that No Man's Sky will be on PC.
- Starts In a survival situation: Find shelter (Maybe build it? Building/Crafting not confirmed), mine resources, build a basic ship, get better ships, so on? If you die, you have to start over.

:D

Take all my money.

Also, if they make it so that ships you shoot down can be found on the ground and scavenged from, that will be amazing.

Better make it really loving easy to survive then.

Not quite sure you will lose EVERYTHING, just the stuff you have on you and your ship(if you're in arial combat). If you DO build a base where you can store stuff, then you won't lose that. In the event that you die in space, you will be spawned at the nearest habitable planet around you.

Hopefully it can be a bit of an fps too.

It can be like Destiny, but with flying ships and procedurally generated and stylized.

That would be damn awesome, but if you just walk around and the only combat is in ships, I can probably deal with that, but it might seem boring after a while.

i really, really hope this is multiplayer

It's going to be. They said it's to be somewhat MMO-esque, except people won't be packed into one space. They will be spread out across the stars.
