Sorry, I should have specified that I was posting that in response to the current conversation about what was happening to people's circle pads and how Nintendo should make replacement kits or a more durable version.

I was agreeing with what cybertails was saying about the newer one and saying that if mine breaks, then I'll probably just wait until I can get the new one.

Now I've got a smaller console that's hard to hold with my large hands with a smaller screen that cost me more and only has one circle pad and all I got in return were some virtual console games that I already played to death long ago

You don't have to keep the 3DS. If you got your Nintendo Miiverse or whatever account liked to the system, you can re-download all those ambassador games on a new system.
