Does anyone know when the demo is coming out for the eastern united states?
Should be in the US today.

Well you could shake the wiimote to do smashes if you wanted.
Did anyone use that though?

I checked the eshop 3 times in the past couple of hours, its not showing up?

What. Do you think that the wiimote+nunchuk control scheme involves motion control?

These are the default controls for the wiimote+nunchuk.
I have found a stuffty low-quality google images picture.
are you implying i've never played brawl, let alone with that setup? because that's far from true

here's a less clunky control setup, report back after you've beaten the subspace emissary with it

okay I thought i was gonna have to pop a cap

Wiimote and Nunchuck combo is still my favorite Brawl setup. There's plenty of buttons to press, and shaking in certain directions for smashing, IMO, works well.
If you can't use a Gamecube controller (or a classic controller), it does the job.

What's far from true? All I said in that post was that those were the default controls for the wiimote+nunchuk. They don't use motion controls.

And how is that less clunky? I've tried playing with that before, and I can't do it. I need to have a stick.

you're literally explaining the basic Brawl controls to me, and getting confused when I remind you that "yes, I know, I've played the game of course I know the controls."

I've tried playing with that before, and I can't do it. I need to have a stick.

i've dpadded through the campaign and subspace emissary missions, don't know what you're going on about

edit: Sm4sh demo is out now, everyone check the eShop. It has a 30-day limit however (Club Nintendo "special demos" are permanent)

I do quite like the nunchuk and Wiimote over the gamecube controller.
Does the GCC have some sort of technical advantage or is it just preference?

Preference mostly.
Many people who still play Smash Bros. started on Melee (or N64, but more so Melee).
