I can't help but wonder if the AI did actually get harder or if I started to suck more. Level 9 was easy for me to beat but now it's quite a feat.

Will pay heavily in tf2 items for a Mewtwo 3ds code ;-;

yeah this, the cpus seem much harder to defeat now

could just have to do with getting used to mewtwo in my case though, because i do those things flawlessly with every other character

They haven't necessarily gotten harder, i just feel like their reaction timings are 100% perfect blocks and then they're able to punish for it.

I prefer fighting level 8s and 7s because their AI feels less repetitive to fight and it's all around funner (besides playing actual people)
gee i wonder if it's going to perfect block this or i wonder if it's going to put me in a loop if you know what i mean

it sucks but you really can't practice against computers, they're so predictable

do you guys remember when we found the extra Kirby sound files in the 3DS Mewtwo Update?

just figured something interesting out that kind of confirms a new stage coming soon.

take a look at this:

now, at surface value this picture doesn't mean anything. it's just four characters on Battlefield having a good old smash.

but, something to note about this is that in this picture i'm playing classic mode.
in classic mode on the 3DS, it is impossible to encounter Battlefield unless you're going up against Mii Team. so what gives?

well, recently we discovered that there was a new theme song for a Kirby stage in the Mewtwo Update. (heard here and here) we're already suspicious--and almost sure that there's going to be a new Kirby-themed stage.

but after delving into classic a few more times, i found out that encountering King Dedede in Classic mode set the stage to Battlefield instead of his normal arena, GBA Dream Land. battlefield is the "default" stage of the game, so when you encounter Dedede, the game tries to load this new stage ID (let's say id 35, since 0-34 exist in-game), it says "wait, id 35 doesn't exist/the player doesn't own this dlc", so it'll do the fallback that nintendo probably hard-coded in the case a player's data gets corrupted, which sends them to Battlefield. (much like how character id 0 in Melee is Master Hand, and stage id 0 is FD.)

this only happens if Dedede is the main fighter in that battle, so the path would have to be a Kirby star, and Dedede would have to be the trophy in the front. this doesn't happen on the Wii U version of the game. so maybe this new Kirby-themed stage will be related to Dedede in some way? i might be late on this dedede bug, but i figured i'd post something interesting about the new stage thing. i'd say this essentially confirms a new stage is coming soon for the Kirby gang.

so maybe this new Kirby-themed stage will be related to Dedede in some way?

i still gotta use my mewtwo code damn

LET ME BUY IT
hell naw brotha ive been waitin forever for this code

if you're iffy on the stage thing, try it for yourself. play through classic as a character that has a high Vs. Dedede chance (i.e. Peach or Mewtwo, i've noticed these two get Kirby characters as opponents often.) on 5.0+, go after any of the Kirby icon paths. it should take you straight to battlefield.
